Velvet Red
Velvet red was made with typical grape varieties from the Minervois, the wines in this range are indulgent and expressive.
Our white wine features Roussanne and Grenache Blanc, our rosé is made from Syrah and Grenache, and our red wine is a blend of Syrah, Grenache (which adds roundness and indulgence), and Mourvèdre (which brings structure).
These rich and aromatic wines will charm you with their elegance and texture, as well as their finish, which is mineral, fresh, or even spicy.

Tasting notes
Ruby robe
A prettily complex nose with notes of fresh blackcurrant and spices (nutmeg, clove).
A frank attack on the palate, round and supple with notes of blackcurrant and wild blackberries that go along with silky tannins for a harmonious wine. The finish is slightly fresh and the fruity aromas remain on your tongue for several lengths.

Perfect pairing with a soft rind cheese, a Marengo veal or a Stroganoff beef.
The winemaker’s corner:
Soil: Fluvial deposits dating back to the Pliocene.
The fermentation starts after a short maceration of each varietal. Then the juice goes for barrel fermentation for 15 days with grape-treading every single day. The alcoholic fermentation is done between 26 and 30° and the wine is finally blended after being tasted.
Aging potential: 3-10 years.
